South Australian operator Adelaide Trucks and Vans has announced a massive boost to its fleet, welcoming a $2 million expansion in the form of nine vehicles.
The fleet has now expanded to 60 vehicles with the addition of six Fuso Canter 815 models, comprising four tautliners and two refrigerated trucks.
ATV services the construction, wine, timber and board, infrastructure and general freight sectors, and managing director Mansij 'Money' Bhan says the investment will support the company's growing presence in that sector.
“Since launching in 2021, ATV has rapidly expanded from just one truck to become the largest supplier of rigid tray tops in South Australia,” he says.
“Our newest investments will significantly increase our capabilities by allowing us to better serve existing customers and capitalise on new opportunities and sectors.
“In particular, we see huge scope for ATV to introduce our leading transport solutions into regional communities filling a gap left by the closure of many small transport operators.
“With our new Loadmac capability, we can provide a cost-effective, all-in-one solution for the efficient and safe delivery and distribution of goods and services when and where they are needed.”
Alongside the Canters, ATV has also purchased two 18T Fuso tautliners and two truck- mounted Loadmac forklifts, enhancing service for sectors such as the building supply industry by providing greater flexibility and efficiency when delivering products directly to building sites.
It also plans to add a prime mover to the fleet later in 2025. “However, we believe it is during these times that we must continue to invest in our customers’ needs to secure our shared long-term success, even when the environment is tough,” Mansij says.
